Welcome to the 2026-2027 Ringette Season

The board members are looking forward to a fun and exciting ringette season.

Registration is open!


Regular Season

 Please read the following information. To enter our Registration portal, please select "Registration Link" at the bottom of this page.

 Before you register: All parents are required to take Safe Sport Training through the Coaching Association of Canada. This training is free and is accessed through The Locker https://thelocker.coach.ca/ If you took the training last year, you can obtain your NCCP number (required for registration) by going to the same website and logging in and viewing your training. This training - 30- 90 minutes -  is only required once. If you are new to Harbour City or didn't complete your training last year, please go to https://thelocker.coach.ca/, create a profile and search for Safe Sport and complete the training. Your NCCP number is required for each athlete's registration.

Your athlete must register in the division given by their birth year. If you have questions, please first read HCL's policy on exceptional player Player Movement Policy - Exceptional Players. If you have questions, please reach out to the Director of Athlete Development (U12-U19) or Director of Children's Ringette (U10 & under).

 

Where Should I Register:

Active Start: First-time skaters between the ages of 4-6 (Before December 31st 2026). Athletes will be assessed at their first two sessions to ensure they are in the correct division.  Athletes who were members of the Association in the 2025/2026 season should not register in this division.

 

FUN  Please register in FUN if your birth year is 2019, 2020, or 2021 and/or if you were a member in the 2025/26 season (for any Association). Please read carefully the attached LTAD information for these divisions to understand the structure of the program and expectations for this division.

  

U10/12: Please read carefully the attached LTAD information for these divisions to understand the structure of the program and expectations for this division.

 Birth Years for these divisions, regardless of skill,  are as follows:

 U10  2017, 2018

 U12 : 2015, 2016

 

U14: U14 is unchanged from the prior season tiering model, although Tier 1 and Tier 2 now will be referred to as U14AA and U14B.  More information about that process can be found on the team formation policy on our Website.  

 Birth Years for U14: 2013, 2014

 

U16: We're now refering to Tier 1 as U16A and Tier 2 as U16B.  More information about that process can be found on the team formation policy on our Website.  

Birth Years 2011, 2012

 

U19: Balanced model. Birth Years 2008, 2009, 2010

 

Registration for Back on Blades (BoB) is also open. There are limited spots with a waitlist. For U10 -U12 1 session of powerskating/skills and 2 scrimmages, U14/16 3 scrimmages & U19  2 scrimmages. Goalies please register for scrimmage only (no cost). There is also Goalie dedicated Back on Blades Skills sessions for all divisions, 4 sessions.  Back on Blades will take place prior to Team Placement icetimes
